Logos and brand assets published on our press page may be used in editorial coverage without further permission. Any other use — merchandise, endorsements, altered marks — needs written permission from press@cindercreststudios.com.

Privacy summary

This website. It collects nothing. There are no analytics scripts, no advertising trackers and no cookies set by us. Our host keeps standard web server logs (IP address, requested page, timestamp, user agent) for security and troubleshooting, and those are discarded on a short rolling schedule.

Our games. Riftbound Arena and Emberfall are different. To run an account-based online game we collect and store account data (email address, display name, authentication details and purchase records) and gameplay telemetry (match results, performance and crash data, and input and session information used for matchmaking, balance and abuse detection). We do not sell player data.

Anti-cheat. Riftbound Arena's anti-cheat is provided by a third-party vendor and includes a kernel-mode driver component. It starts when the game starts and stops when the game exits; it does not run in the background when you are not playing. It inspects the game process and related system state for tampering, and sends the results of that inspection to us for enforcement decisions. Emberfall does not include an anti-cheat component.

Your choices. You can request a copy of your account data, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by emailing support@cindercreststudios.com. Some records — enforcement history and transaction records in particular — are retained where we are required to keep them.

Terms of use for this site

This site is provided as-is for information about our studio and our games. You may link to it freely and quote from it with attribution. You may not scrape it at a rate that degrades service for other visitors, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or present its content as your own.

Press releases on this site are accurate as of their publication date and are not updated afterwards. Product plans, dates and features described in them may change. Nothing here forms a contract or a warranty, and the terms that actually govern playing our games are the ones you accept in the game client.

Any dispute arising from this site is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA.
