Copyright and trademarks

All text, images, audio and code on this site and in our games are our property or used under licence, except where noted. Press and editorial use of the assets on our press page is permitted without further permission; everything else needs our written agreement.

Unreal Engine is a trademark of its respective owner and is used here only to identify the technology our games are built on.

Privacy summary

This website. It collects nothing. There are no analytics, no advertising tags, no cookies and no third-party scripts. Our host keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for a short period for security and abuse purposes. Web fonts are loaded from a third-party font service, which will see your IP address as part of that request.

Our games. Saltline is single-player and sends us nothing. Undercroft Tactics requires an account and collects what an online game needs: your account identifier, purchase and entitlement records, match and progression data, crash reports and gameplay telemetry used for balance, stability and cheat detection.

Anti-cheat. Undercroft Tactics’ anti-cheat is provided by a third party under contract to us. It runs only while the game is running, starts when the game launches and stops when the game exits, and it processes hashed device and platform-integrity signals rather than personal information about you. It does not run in the background when you are not playing.

We do not sell personal data. We retain account data while your account exists and for a limited period afterwards for fraud, refund and enforcement purposes. To request a copy of your data or its deletion, email support@driftwoodsignal.com from the address on the account.

This site is provided as-is, for information about the studio and its games. We try to keep it accurate but make no warranty that it is; release dates, system requirements and open roles change.

You may link to any page here. You may not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, republish substantial portions of its text as your own, or use our marks in a way that suggests we endorse you.

Anything you send us at the addresses on this site is treated as non-confidential unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. Unsolicited game ideas and design submissions are deleted unread, as noted on our contact page.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
